Halcyon Household was founded by two specialists who understood that London’s private household market deserved something it rarely received: a recruiter with genuine expertise in a single discipline, operating to the same standard it expects of the candidates it places.
Every search is overseen personally by our founders — one leading on client relationships, the other on candidate sourcing and assessment — supported by senior specialists in the Halcyon team. The people responsible for your search are the people doing the work.

We are built around precision, not volume. Rather than broad longlists, we present a curated shortlist of three to five candidates — each assessed in depth, each matched carefully to the specific household, its principals, and its needs.
Our vetting process is multi-layered and thorough. References are verified directly. Working history is explored in depth. Suitability is assessed not only for the role, but for the household, its principals, and the environment the candidate will be entering.
We also maintain a carefully developed network of experienced housekeepers who trust Halcyon Household to approach every introduction with discretion, care, and judgement.
The result is a placement process that is quieter, more considered, and more reliable — because every part of it has been built for this purpose and this purpose alone.

You will always speak directly with a founder or a senior member of the Halcyon team. Your household’s requirements remain within our practice and are never passed to a third party. Candidate details and client information are managed with the same standard of care we expect the candidates themselves to bring to your home.
Our introductions come through trusted relationships — from estate managers, private assistants, and principals who understand the standard we hold ourselves to. We value that trust, and we protect it.
